Road Less Traveled
Jonathan Legg's uncharted adventures across the planet — from Japanese conventions to Himalayan mountain roads to the Antarctic.
A presenter-led adventure format built on genuine access rather than spectacle — the places, subcultures and routes that don't appear on a standard travel itinerary.
Six seasons and sixty-eight hours of it, running from 2011.
This is the volume credit. Sixty-eight hours across six seasons, licensed by Discovery Asia, is the answer to the question every commissioner asks first: can they actually deliver at scale, repeatedly, on schedule?
It also established the small-unit international production model that SD Media still runs today — senior crews, local fixers, long shoot blocks, and a cost base that makes ambitious international factual viable.
