The proposition

Culinary travel is the most crowded shelf in factual. Maximum Foodie earns its place by refusing the tourist frame: the show is built around the chefs, producers and cooks changing what food can be in their own place, told by a host who eats and works alongside them rather than narrating from outside.

Structurally, it was designed from day one to be a format rather than a travelogue — repeatable, licensable, and commercially open to destination and brand partnership without compromising the edit.

Why it matters commercially

Six seasons on air and a seventh in production is the whole argument. Formats that renew that far do so because the architecture holds, the cost model works and buyers come back — and a buyer looking at SD Media for the first time can read all three off that record. Fifty-nine episodes are delivered and available today.

We own it outright. Distribution is handled internationally by Off the Fence and InsightTV, while digital, FAST and format-licensing rights are retained in-house — which is what makes destination and brand partnership possible on terms that work for a funder.
